Step One
I am starting this blog as a sort of record of my wanderings back down the initiatory path. Last night, after a very long time spent deliberating (since 2004!) I joined the Builders Of The Adytum (B.O.T.A). A correspondence course that is heavily focused on Tarot and Hermetic Qabalah is right up my alley. I think that I have a pretty good foundation on both topics, so hopefully the initial lessons won't be rehashing things too much. I have also started to acquire the Keep Silence editions of the long out of print first volume of The Equinox. This will fill a big chunk of my occult library when completed. I have issues 1 and 8 so far. They are really beautiful hardcover editions, with very clear printing. The figures and illustrations are practically perfect, which is a big improvement over the tables in reprints of Chanokh, for example.
